Rajo Laurel designs for the men of Wharton
MANILA, Philippines - Wharton recently launched its latest collection designed by Rajo Laurel at the Establishment at The Fort.
The collection dubbed as “W by Rajo” is characterized by rich-tailored details, and takes inspiration from the craft of tailoring itself. The gentlemen who attended the launch in their W getups were actor Luis Alandy, ABS-CBN Publishing’s Ernie Lopez, entrepreneur Rafa Alunan, basketball players Dondon Hontiveros and Jonas Villanueva, personalities such as Rambo Nuñez, Ketchup Eusebio, Jon Herrera, Elbert Cuenca, Edg Samson, Kevin Tan, and Nix Alañon.
W by Rajo’s color palette is based on Rajo’s own personal preference. The collection is dashed with classic hues of white, off-white, black and navy blue — colors that men would personally want in their own wardrobe.
“I designed every piece with myself in mind, like, what I would be shopping for, what colors I would want to wear whether it’s for everyday or special occasions. W by Rajo speaks to every Filipino men’s whim for garments that make an impression but are subtle and elegant,” shared Rajo.
The collaboration is a first for the premium menswear brand and the fashion maverick, who both share a vision of elevating Filipino men’s fashion sense.
The pieces in the W by Rajo collection are available at Wharton boutiques in leading malls.
