Flying high
MANILA, Philippines - It started with a brilliant display of light against the dark stage backdrop, followed by an electrifying energy: Human endorser Billy Crawford set the stage on fire for the launch of his new fragrance, Fly, last May 17 at the TriNoma Activity Center.
Models sashayed down the runway decked out in Human’s signature hip apparel — graphic tees, striped hoodies, trendy dresses, funky jean and dazzling accessories.
By the second set, the models — inspired perhaps by the main man Billy — danced as they took on the catwalk. But the real highlight was Billy’s dynamic performance. Not a single person took his eyes off the stage as Billy danced and sang. It was simply exhilarating!
This is, in fact, the spirit of Fly EDT: it’s a men’s fragrance that exudes energy, passion and confidence. The name itself is a giveaway: in hip-hop/urban rap jargon, “fly” means hip. Fly, in many ways, is also a lot like Billy and the alternative style brand Human.
Lending their support to Billy was Suyen chairman Ben Chan. Present also were Bench endorsers Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez along with daughter Juliana, Enchong Dee, PR man Keren Pascual, Arnold Vegafria of ALV Consult Us, ABS-CBN’s Mario Dumaual, architect Miguel Pastor and the Suyen family — Virgilio Lim, Nenita Lim, Brian Lim, Kristine Lim and Suyen Lim.
After his performance, Billy visited the Human store in TriNoma, to the delight of his fans and shoppers.
