Bally high
MANILA, Philippines - Hollywood’s A-list hunks love their Bally. The always-trendy Ashton Kutcher was spotted wearing a Bally suede bomber jacket on the set of his new movie, 5 Killers.
Buff actor Ryan Reynolds donned a navy leather Bally jacket for the US premiere of his last movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. And heartthrob Paul Walker wore a Bally plaid oxford shirt to the Tokyo premiere of his new film, Fast & Furious.
But Bally is not just a masculine favorite. At the recent Costume Institute Gala “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” at New York’s Met, actress Rachel Bilson attended the event with Bally creative director Brian Atwood. For the much-anticipated evening, Bilson wore a ruched seafoam green silk chiffon strapless sweetheart décolleté gown created by Bally just for the evening. Python platform shoes and a jewel-cut clutch in gold leather, also by Bally, finished off the look.
Other young Tinseltown stylistas who go for Bally include certified fashionista and proud mom Nicole Richie, who wore the silver beaded tank from the spring-summer ’09 collection for an in-store appearance at Holt Renfrew to promote her jewelry line “House of Harlow 1960.”
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively was also spotted wearing the same must-have item on the set of her hit TV series.
Tennis superstar Maria Sharapova went for a cool, laid-back look in Bally’s silk crepe harem pants in cream when she attended a party in Miami.
Heroes star Ali Larter wore Bally on the red carpet, appearing at the New York City premiere of her new film Obsessed clutching Bally’s small pink patent leather bag to go with her metallic dress.
Model Hilary Rhoda strutted in Bally’s Isabena shoes and Arhoma clutch at the New Yorkers for Children gala also in New York.
In the Philippines, Bally is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists Inc. (SSI) and is located at Greenbelt 5, Rustan’s Makati, the Power Plant Mall, and Shangri-La Plaza Mall.
