Holiday dishes at Bangus Specialty Restaurant

MANILA, Philippines – Bangus Specialty Restaurant offers dishes for Noche Buena tonight or tomorrow’s Christmas Day lunch. You can place orders for the rest of the holiday season.

For the past 33 years, Bangus Specialty Restaurant has been treating diners to home-cooked meals for lunch or dinner. Aside from bangus dishes, from relleno to lumpia, sinigang and belly cooked in oil, it offers other dishes as bulalo, chicken relleno, binagoongang baboy, garlic mushroom stuffed with bangus sisig, fried kamote and tofu steak, kare-kareng buntot and crispy pata.

Must-try dishes include Busog Breakfast Meals like crispy tinapang bangus flakes made of pieces of bangus tinapa fried to a crisp with its crispy skin; Bangus Belly Sardines in Oil, a prime cut of the fish cooked lightly in oil with special spices; and the Spicy Bangus Belly Sardines in Tomato Sauce, the fish belly in a piquant sauce. All three Busog Breakfast Meals are served with garlic rice, fried egg, turon na saging and free-flowing coffee.

Until tomorrow, Bangus Restaurant is offering a free dish to its customers. For a minimum purchase, customers can take out for free Binusog na Tinapang Bangus, Lumpiang Bangus, or Ginataang Hipon and Binagoongang Baboy.

Dessert choices include Piniritong Leche Flan with dayap dip, Turong Ginataan and the Guinomis Turon.

Bangus Specialty Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Connecticut parking building in Greenhills, 725-3083; and at the Mall of Asia, 556-0386.
