foodpanda launches Corporate Platform for companies

Philstar.com
MANILA, Philippines -- foodpanda has launched the Corporate Platform product, offering a more convenient way of managing orders for companies. Already available in the Philippines, India, Singapore, Hong Kong and Indonesia, the Corporate Platform product is specifically targeted at companies offering to pay for meals in the office.

Companies are provided with an Administration Toolkit, allowing employers to customize settings to control budgets and set maximum order values for lunch or dinner or weekday or weekend orders, whether for departments, locations, times of day, and even particular individuals. Detailed order reports and monthly invoices are also stored in the toolkit to simplify and streamline accounting, helping to avoid expense abuse and removing the need to keep paper receipts and fill out expense reports for reimbursement.

For employees, the new service will allow group orders to be placed with colleagues, merging allowances for shared orders. Employees simply have to place their orders on the corporate platform, following the preferences set by the organization, choosing from foodpanda’s over 1,000 partner restaurants.

“The working professionals comprise foodpanda’s biggest target market, as they are always on the lookout for convenient meal solutions to suit their busy lifestyle. We are happy to offer an easy way for both companies and employees to order food in the office,” said foodpanda Philippines’ Co-Founder and CEO Mauro Cocchieri.

A recent global study conducted by the global online food delivery marketplace headquartered in Berlin, Germany found that company benefits significantly boost motivation and increase the rate of employee retention, with free or fully reimbursed meals among the top office perks, along with financial support for continuous education and gym memberships.

60% mentioned that they would be willing to voluntarily work longer hours if food is provided. Two out of three respondents feel that companies that provide food for employees value their employees more.

Now, with foodpanda’s Corporate Platform product (https://corporate.foodpanda.ph/), companies can show that they do just that.
