Manila Pavilion Hotel switches off lights for Earth Hour 2014

Manila Pavilion Hotel supports the advocacy of World Wildlife Fund (WWF) by observing Earth Hour 2014. Committed to preserve the environment, Manila Pavilion Hotel switches off selected lights within the property on March 29 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 pm. Spotlights illuminating the hotel from the outside will be temporarily replaced by torches and a Happy Hour party at the Boulvar will be held where souvenir items like eco-bags and T-shirts will be given to guests. “We believe that taking little steps — like turning off unnecessary lights — will have a huge, positive result. This can also help us achieve the common goal of raising awareness about climate change issues.
