What’s on the Menu? New World Makati celebrates Ayala Center’s 50th anniversary
MANILA, Philippines -New World Makati Hotel celebrates Ayala Center’s 50th anniversary with its signature special set menu at Jasmine Restaurant. The menu features xiao long bao, XO prawns, steamed codfish, chef’s special buchi and more. Available daily for dinner, the set menu is priced at P1,250 per person. Groups of six or more guests are treated to a whole Peking duck per table. Café 1228 offers a buffet featuring international cuisine. Offered at a 50 percent discount, the lunch buffet is priced at P894, and the dinner buffet for P944 per person. Guests who check in on a Friday or Saturday get a second-night stay for free. The special room package is inclusive of two complimentary cocktails at the hotel’s up-and-coming Bar Rouge, and late checkout at 4 p.m. Reservations are valid from Friday to Saturday only.

Barsilog at Heaven

Le Coeur de France’s newest product offering is the Croughnut. Croughnuts have the flaky texture of a croissant while taking the form of a doughnut, with a sweet filling in between. LCDF’s Croughnuts come in three flavors: Parmesan cheese, mixed berries with cream cheese, and double Belgian chocolate.
