Shake, rattle and pour at TGI Friday’s

MANILA, Philippines -Catch T.G.I. Friday’s bartenders as they raid  T.G.I. Friday’s restaurants all over the metro for an exhibition of bottle-spinning, drink-tossing and all-star flair-tending moves. The bar tour is just one of the many activities being launched this summer by the all-American restaurant chain.

The featured bartenders went through a rigorous round of auditions, with most being previous participants of the renowned “Shake, Rattle, and Pour Bartending Championship,” which is on its 18th year. Stars of the bar  Aldrin “The One” Javar (Friday’s TriNoma), Michael “Unstoppable”Rabago (Friday’s Glorietta), Ronilo “The Showstopper” Bautista (Friday’s Mall of Asia), Junjun “The Entertainer” Marcelo (Friday’s Malate) and Gino “The Bomb” Simbillo (Friday’s Marquee mall, Pampanga) will take turns with their bottle tricks and suave moves. Leading these celebrity bartenders is Genrev “The Revolution” Bacasno (Friday’s Tomas Morato), the reigning champion of the local T.G.I.Friday’s “Shake, Rattle and Pour Bartending Championship” and 2 nd runner-up at the “Asian Bartending Competition” held in Melbourne, Australia, last year.

The T.G.I.Friday’s Stars Behind the Bar tour is in partnership with Stolichnaya Vodka.
