MANILA, Philippines - Learn easy and creative recipes from around the world adapted to cooking at home from Stephanie Zubiri at Atelier 317. The demo classes last three hours but are packed with three to five recipes, useful tips and interesting historical and nutritional snippets to add  a story behind each dish. Classes are intimate up to 16 people maximum, and very interactive, where students are invited to help and ask questions. After each class, sit down and enjoy the food or take home some leftovers. Classes are at P1,500 per person on April  20, 23 and 30.

On April 20, learn French homecooking with dishes like classic onion soup, ratatouille, stuffed roasted tomatoes and bell peppers, simplified gratin dauphinoise and  mango clafoutis.  On April 23, Classic Italian — easy antipasti (principles of antipasti), pasta caccio e pepe, pollo in stemperata, creamy polenta and affogato; and on April 30, learn how to whip up modern Filipino favorites like crisp chicken fillets with balsamic orange, adobo reduction, gourmet cheese pimiento quesadillas, lamb and chorizo arroz a la Cubana (with brown rice), zucchini, lemon and tuyo spaghettini and mango tiramisu.
