Good food on the go at Sentro 1771
MANILA, Philippines -Sentro 1771 launches, for the first time, its “Party to Go†menu with size options for six to 10 persons. From appetizer to dessert, executive chef Vicky Rose Pacheco ensures that whatever the choice, every dish is big in size, brimming with flavor, but easy on the pocket.
The garlicky beef (P1,599) and pork adobo (P2,710) are certified Filipino dishes cooked the Sentro way. The beef is cooked fall-off-the-bones goodness. The adobo is loaded with toasted garlic, annatto seeds, and simmered in soy sauce and vinegar.
The lamb caldereta is cooked in a rich red sauce with spices (P1,450 and P2,400). Chef Vicky ensures that her version doesn’t have the slightest gamey taste that lamb is known for.
Slow and sensually cooked, the kare kare (P1,300 and P3,250) is another exotic, certified Filipino dish. This is the perfect dish when entertaining balikbayan guests. There’s no doubt that this is one of those items they’ve been craving for — from the peanut-based sauce, ox tail, ox feet, tripe, and vegetables.
Not to be missed is Sentro’s sinigang na corned beef (P1, 100 for six and P1, 699 for 10), which is one of chef Vicky’s signature dishes.
Pasta lovers are in for a treat as Sentro offers deliciously unusual pasta dishes like the Kusinero Pasta (P1,099 and P1,900), al dente spaghetti with tuyo flakes in garlic oil, bell pepper and parsley — guaranteed a crowd favorite.
