Century Tuna “Lose Big” Egg-White Omelet

Ingredients:

3 tsps. - olive oil

3 cloves - garlic, sliced

1 small - onion, sliced

1-184 grams - Century Tuna solid in water, drained

5 pcs. - fresh button mushrooms, sliced

1 medium - ripe tomato, cut in 1 centimeter dice freshly cracked pepper to taste

1 tbsp. - chopped fresh parsley

1 tsp. - chopped fresh dill

8 pcs. - egg whites

4 slices - whole wheat toast

20 grams - cottage cheese

Procedure:

1. In a non-stick omelet pan heat 1 teaspoon olive oil. Sauté garlic until light brown. Add onions and sauté until softened.

2. Add Century Tuna and mushrooms, and cook until mushrooms are soft.

3. Add tomato and season with cracked pepper.

4. Finish with chopped herbs and set aside.

5. Divide egg whites equally into two bowls.

6. Divide Century Tuna mix equally into the two bowls.

7 Reheat the omelet pan with one more teaspoon of olive oil. Add 1 bowl with eggs and tuna mix and move around the pan to form the omelet.

8. Then add half the cheese and cook over low heat until almost set.

9. Fold omelet and serve with two slices of whole-wheat toast.

10. Repeat with remaining ingredients to make the second omelet and enjoy.

Makes two servings.
