AppleOne Tower to rise in Cebu
The AppleOne Tower project, the soon-to-rise 17-story building located in the vibrant premier business district Cebu Business Park,recently had its formal launch at the grand ballroom of the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel.
Located along Mindanao Ave. and Biliran St., the AppleOne tower will have 46 office units, four levels of parking spaces and 18 units of exclusive residential suites.
Opening the affair was a message by Cebu Investments and Promotions Center director Jose Mari Yu, who shared some insights on the business climate of Cebu.
Michael Torres of ArchiGlobal Inc, the head architect for the AppleOne Tower, talked about the inspiration for the building’s design, which is “Success without Stress” as evidenced by the careful selection of the location, which will help the eventual tenants achieve their personal or professional goals.
Located right in the center of the city’s premier financial district, AppleOne has access to both public and private transportation and is only a few steps away from the Ayala Center Cebu, which offers a great shopping, dining and entertainment experience.
The evening culminated with a message from vice president for operations Yvet Villareal Andalis, who led the unveiling of the building’s scale model. Also present were the general managers of the different alliance companies of AppleOne Properties Inc.

Movenpick Hotels and Resorts, an upscale international chain of Swiss origin, recently signed a management contract for the Movenpick Resort and Spa Cebu.
Set on its own private beach on Mactan Island, the Mediterranean- inspired enclave offers white pristine beaches and excellent diving.
The resort contains three executive floors and an executive lounge, which is ideal for executive conference meetings or simply unwinding for leisure.
Jean Gabriel Peres, president and CEO of Movenpick Hotels and Resorts, remarked that they are happy and excited about their arrival in the Philippines, particularly in Cebu. It is significant as it marks the 15th signed hotel in Asia.
The chain currently operates more than 90 hotels worldwide and was named by the World Travel Market in London as the fastest growing hotel chain in the Middle East.
