Robert Rainford at Greenbelt

MANILA, Philippines - Ayala Malls once again brings to Manila the “King of the Grill” Robert Rainford through a cooking demonstration at the Greenbelt Gardens on July 25, 6 p.m. at Greebelt Garden (between Greenbelt 2 and 5).

Chef Robert’s success is a product of his diligence and curiosity in food. Aside from being a chef, he’s also an instructor at his alma matter, George Brown College; a motivational speaker, and host of Licence to Grill where he teaches viewers the art of bbq-ology grilling right in his own backyard. “King of the Grill” will be highlighted by a grilling contest from 6 to 7 p.m. It will be participated in by the Hotel and Restaurant Management students of the College of St. Benilde and three Greenbelt merchants — Queens at Bollywood, Tender Bob’s and National Sports Grill. The team that whips up the most delectable grilled dish appropriate for their assigned restaurant will have their winning dish featured at the resto for one month and win other exciting prizes. Ayala Malls food merchants will also have booths at the Greenbelt Garden. Interested parties may register at Greenbelt 3 and 5 Phase 2 Concierge.
