Be glad for summer baking adventures

Chef Buddy shares a recipe that parents and kids can do together for merienda. For something quick to serve, there is Caramel Pili Nut Clusters, which may easily be created in five easy steps. Prepare it using Glad Ovenware, Glad Zipper Bags and Gladware containers.
Caramel Pili Nut Clusters
Ingredients:
1 kilo roasted pili nuts (skinless)
3 cans evaporated milk
3.5 cups granulated sugar
3 pieces egg yolks
Procedure:
Boil the pili nuts to remove the skin then roast pili on a sheet pan lined with Glad Cook ‘n’ Bake till light brown.
In a large sauté pan, dissolve the sugar in the milk on medium heat for 10 minutes.
Add pili, slowly add egg yolks. Cook and stir till thick and caramel in color (about 1 hour).
Spoon little clusters on Glad Cook n’ Bake paper.
Slice and store in Glad Zipper bags or Gladware containers.
