18 treasures feast at New World Hotel
MANILA, Philippines - The New World City Makati City fine-dining Chinese restaurant Jasmin has a special Chinese New Year set menu prepared by chef Choi Wing Ki.
The six-course menu highlights the ultimate 18 treasures feast in a wooden basin with 18 epicurean ingredients like abalone, sea moss, tiger prawns and eel, among others.
Available at P14,800 for a table of six persons, and P28,800 for a table of 12.
A complimentary box of special radish cake will be given to every group of 12.
Traditional Chinese brown sugar tikoy is available for P688/box.
On Feb. 14, a Chinese Dragon dance will be held to celebrate the Year of the Tiger.

Chinese prosperity buffet at Heritage Hotel
The Heritage Hotel offers a Lo Hei Chinese prosperity buffet highlighting the Singaporean-style Yu Sheng Lunar New Year good fortune salad for lunch and dinner buffet at the Riviera Café from Feb. 15 to 28 at P1,288+ per person.
On Feb. 14, dinner is at P1,600+ per person.
The Chinese New Year feast is prepared by executive chef AlvinNg.
The dishes include Yu Sheng salad, tsong tsai fan tsong tsai tong, ho xi fatt choy, and sweet muar chee.
Participate in the Yu Sheng Prosperity salad ceremony and have a first-hand experience of the traditional Lo Hei.
Chopsticks are used to toss the ingredients as high in the air as you can.
Hold your own private traditional ceremony of tossing the Yu Sheng, the Lunar New Year prosperity salad platter, for only P1,488+ good for eight to 10 persons.
