Brews worthy

Brit pop band Blur once sang about Coffee and TV. Well, those are two great things to start the day right. But for the absolute caffeine fix, American brand Starbucks has everything to perk you up in the summer months.

Founded in Seattle, a city famous for coffee fanatics, little did Howard Schultz know that his coffee shop would become one of the world’s biggest brands ever. Well, all the Starbucks buzz is mainly because of the high-quality whole bean coffees and drinks with fresh, rich-brewed, Italian-style espresso beverages. There are of course brewed coffee, hot chocolate, espresso, teas, and frappuccinos. So, whether it’s over girl talk with the BFF (best friend forever), date with a crush or a quick catch-up with Dad, Starbucks coffee has always been your beverage of choice.

“Anyone can take a full coffee break with the Starbucks Summer Oasis,” says Annie Ico, Starbucks’ assistant marketing manager. “This out-of-store tactic is an ultimate escape to beat the summer heat.”

On a normal day, I would drink a hot Caramel Macchiato with soymilk or a Coffee Frappucino. But recently, I was able to try Starbuck’s new drink, which is the Dulce de Leche Frappucino blended coffee. This creamy sweet treat is made of classic milk caramel that is well-loved all over Latin America. Then, it is blended with premium Starbucks coffee, ice and whipped cream topped with a caramel drizzle. Oh, it’s just absolutely divine!

 Ico adds, “To treat those who buy a single purchase of either a Dulce de Leche Frappucino blended coffee or Dulce de Leche Frappucino blended cream, they can get a complimentary service at the Starbucks Summer Oasis within the same day.”

Thanks to the Starbucks Summer Oasis, there is no other way to enjoy coffee at your favorite mall. Expect an area to be transformed into a tropical paradise with Brazilian-inspired cabanas. So, while listening to bossa nova or chill out tunes you can get hand or back massage. Plus, henna tattoo as well. 

“You don’t have to go to the beach to enjoy fun-filled activities,” concludes Ico. “Because you can relax and unwind and beat the summer heat in any Starbucks oasis.”

So, not having coffee during the day might be a scary thought. At least you will get your fix at Starbucks, who really makes coffee for those who love coffee — no doubt, it’s just what you need to get buzzed, enough to rock your morning.
