Eurêka! Theme Parties (yoo-ree-ka!), the one-of-a-kind theme party organizer welcomes the summer season with the Hawaiian luau!

Known for their original themes, art attacks and outrageous parties, Eurêka! Theme Parties zings up the season with the Eurêka! Luau theme which focuses on traditional Hawaiian rites in a mixture of festive island spice, and grand hooplah!

Eurêka! Theme Parties managing partners Stephanie Claire Belmonte and Maimai Yebes explains "the luau has been practiced for thousands of years to honour valued guests, celebrate the grandest occasions and share the Aloha (alooha!) spirit." This reason alone, Yebes says, "has driven us to jazz up our line of offerings by focusing on Eurêka!’s Luau theme this season. "The timeliness of the theme (because of the stifling heat!), its educational value as well as the fun it brings to the celebration of a child or adult’s birthday makes it a worthwhile theme, and definitely a memorable event for the celebrators."

Belmonte explains that typically people think of the popularized Lilo and Stitch children's movie by Disney when they think of a Luau. "What we often explain to our clients is that we don't do Disney or most of the character themes--instead, we've come up with a number of unique themes like Eurêka!'s Luau for example, that gives people a taste of another culture altogether," said Belmonte. "Often times our clients are surprised to see all the elements come together in our parties—set-up, rites, activities and games. We take "fun" seriously! And this is obvious in the way we do our parties."

"Our first point of contact already shows that You mean business", said Yebes. "The luau is packed with colourful leis as invites that encourages all the guests to come "dressed up" for the affair. That coupled with the fantastic display of Hawaiian flair in our set-up together with traditional rites that we introduce to the guests as well as the outrageous themed games for adults and children that Steph and I have concocted guarantees that ho-hum affairs are things of the past when you do a Luau."

Eurêka! Theme Parties’ Luau theme is for everyone—not just the kids celebrating their first, seventh or 12^th birthday. "In 2002, we've proven that Eurêka!'s Luau is ideal even for a team-building affair," said Belmonte. "We were honored to handle some 250 educators from the Ateneo de Manila during their Delaney-Duffy Day celebration where Ateneo de Manila educators spent hours going through group activities that brought them together as one Ohana.. Everyone found interest in coming up with unique flags, performing as a tribe as well as running around in grass skirts with the help of their Wahinay and Kanay tribesmates. All in all a good experience for them and for us, showing that the Luau can be enjoyed by the adults as well!"



Eurêka! Theme Parties has a number of other customized themes that are available, each with its own distinct identity. Among these are the Stardust and Royal Gala themes, as well as the Pirate and Harry Potter themes. Five other themes will soon be introduced within the year, and this will include the following: Jungle/Safari, Flower Power, Under-the-Sea, Wild Wild West and Mystique. At any given time Eurêka! can customize themes, and are currently working on an All Chinese Party for one of their clients that will include elements such as a Dragon and Lion dance as well as the use of acrobats. "Most things you can think of, we can customize for you", beamed Yebes. "It’s one of the things that makes what we do worthwhile for us", added Belmonte.
