Ruffa Guiterrez, Iza Calzado, Alice Dixson share secrets to youthful beauty
MANILA, Philippines — Actresses Iza Calzado, Alice Dixson and Ruffa Gutierrez remind us that while we are free to indulge, let us be conscientious and take proper care of our bodies.
At 54, Alice is rocking abs and a toned physique that has everyone feeling envious.
“I’m really actually matabain,” she admitted to Philstar.com, “I easily gain weight around certain areas of my body, so I have to be vigilant. I don’t like to exercise, so instead I watch what I eat. “
Her toned physique is not a product of happenstance, but rather the result of careful maintenance that entails eating healthy and a little bit of exercise. “I don’t believe in dieting, but rather eating everything in moderation. I try to avoid fried, oily food and eat a lot of fruits and vegetables to help my digestion.”
Calzado, another A-list star from the hit teleserye “A Love to Last,” shared the same concerns of Ruffa with regard to her skin.
“I drink a lot of water to help hydrate my skin and to achieve that natural, youthful look. Also, since I’m not getting any younger, I’ve invested a lot in skincare,” she said.
Gutierrez, the queen of reality TV and one of the stars of “It Takes Gutz To Be A Gutierrez “- stays looking youthful and fresh for TV – despite the stress and hectic shooting schedules – by supplementing her diet with vitamins.
Ruffa takes collagen supplements to achieve smoother, suppler, and more youthful-looking skin.
“When you’re on TV, they can see everything – the wrinkles, the pores and such, so I take that into consideration and really take care of myself," she said.
Ruffa was among the celebrity guests who modeled the new pieces of Italian brand Biagini, known for its sustainably-sourced leather items and limited-edition collections. Biagini is exclusively available in Corso Como 88, which has a branch at the third floor of One Ayala Mall, Makati City.
