'Who's the best?': David Licauco, Jak Roberto, more stars wear Zoro at Sparkle Spell
MANILA, Philippines — Is it fate, coincidence or brilliant marketing when David Licauco and Jak Roberto both came as Roronoa Zoro at the recent Sparkle Spell?
It's quite uncanny that the two men who have been pitted against each other by their connection to actress Barbie Forteza opted to channel the most popular pirate from the Straw Hat crew.
Apart from David and Jak, three more stars were seen as the green-haired, swash-buckling pirate with the coolest three-sword handle. They are Anthony Rosaldo, Sandro Muhlach and Royd Loyola.
Japanese star Mackenyu portrays Roronoa Zoro in "One Piece," which premiered last August 31 exclusively on Netflix. The show has been renewed for a second season after the first season received rave reviews and positive feedback.
