Heart meets Hermès exec in Paris
MANILA, Philippines – Actress and painter Heart Evangelista met the external relations head of a luxury designer bag brand in Paris, France.
In her Instagram account, Love Marie Ongpauco-Escudero also known as “Heart,” shared a photo of her meeting with Michael Corte, head of the external relations of Hermès.
Corte likewise took to Instagram to welcome Heart in Paris.
“Welcome to #Paris Dear@iamhearte !!!! So happy to greet you today at #Hermes! Enjoy the city and see you very soon,” Corte said in his Instagram post.
Heart, dubbed as “Hermès savior” for her hand-painted Hermes bags, last month said the high-end brand is supportive of her art. She said she held a workshop on silk-tying with Hermès’s clients last year.
The Kapuso actress’s meeting with Corte came a month after the “Carry Your HeART” exhibit of her hand-painted designer bags.
Heart is currently in Paris, France to collaborate with an unnamed Parisian brand. Although she failed to identify the brand, reports said Heart revealed she will be printing paintings on the products of the brand whose founder is part of the Hermès forum.
The actress said she was contacted by the brand via email invitation after they saw her works in her Instagram account. She previously shared the good news by posting the screenshot of the email in her Instagram account without revealing the details.
Netizens suspect the brand to be 7 Rue Paradis, a line which designs accessories for bag collectors, since the brand recently commented on Heart’s Instagram account.
