Freeway X Federico Alcuaz
MANILA, Philippines - Freeway pays tribute to Federico Alcuaz, National Artist for Visual Arts, Painting and Mixed Media. Alcuaz is known for his “Tres Marias,” his Manila landscape series, portraits, and his abstracts. His works are showcased in 20 museums and cultural institutions all over the world. In his 55-year career, he has exhibited in leading galleries in Spain, Portugal, Poland, the United States, Germany, and the Philippines.
Freeway’s 10-piece fashion collection is composed of shift dresses, comfortable casual tops, shirts and slinky pieces beautifully adorned with Alcuaz’s masterpieces such as “Man with Still Life” and “Duet in Brown and White,” rich, colored printed dresses and tops that can be worn from day to night, complete with tote bags. The collection uses comfortable materials such as sanitized twills and poplins for casual workwear, to stretch georgettes and knits for weekend outfits.
Each item comes with a National Artist gift packaging and a bio-tag explaining more about the life and works of Alcuaz, a perfect gift for the holiday season.
