Timex plays timekeeper in 2014 Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup
MANILA, Philippines - Timekeeping has never been more fun and entertaining than in the recently concluded 2014 FilOil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup held at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan, courtesy of the event’s official timekeeper, global iconic brand Timex.
The country’s biggest pre-season cup ended recently, after a very exciting finals match between the De La Salle Green Archers and the San Beda Red Lions.
The Archers ultimately bagged the trophy after beating the Lions, 71-66. They also took home exclusive watches, courtesy of Timex. The cup’s official timekeeper also gave away timepieces to each of the most valuable players of the men’s and women’s divisions.
A Timex Express Lounge was set up at the arena to make the event more exciting. Five lucky guests took home P2,500 and Timex goodies by merely visiting the Timex booth and joining the raffle draw.
All items were at 15-percent off to every Timex Express Lounge visitors. They also got Timex goodies for every purchase.
Timex’s Snapshot Photo Challenge also entertained guests by encouraging them to take photos with Timex’s sintra board watches or the Timex Wooden Arc. The photos were posted on Instagram and Twitter with #Timex4FiloilFlyingV. The person who posted the most creative photo and catchy caption took home a Timex watch worth P3,000.
Timex also made the finals game’s half-time break so much more enjoyable with exciting games. Timex stickers were randomly posted under the seats for ten lucky viewers who received a P2,500 worth of loot bag from Timex.
Three excited viewers were also given the chance to join the three-point shooting game where the contestant who made the most points in 30 seconds went home with a P4,000 worth of Timex watch and a goody bag.
As Timex is known for its flair for style, three best styled viewers wearing a Timex watch were chosen from the audience and also received goody bags worth P2,500 each.
Be it players, coaches, or members of the crowd, everyone went home with a smile on their faces after the 2014 FilOil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup.
