Facing the reality of climate change
MANILA, Philippines - The recent events of Typhoon Haiyan/ Yolanda, the biggest storm ever recorded in the Earth’s history, have opened the world’s eyes to the reality of climate change.
Thus, the Headshot Clinic, together with Emmy award-winning Filipino producer Michael Carandang and supported by Facial Care Centre’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, has spearheaded Earth Faces — a project that aims to raise awareness of climate change and send a message of hope to Filipinos and the rest of the world.
Earth Faces endeavors to capture through film and photographs human strength to overcome risk and adversity, as told by the survivors of Yolanda.
Bianca Gonzalez, the newest face of Facial Care Centre and one of the Climate Change Commission ambassadors, is the first of the 100 faces in the Earth Faces campaign. Bianca, together with Facial Care Centre’s Cheri Gil, Agot Isidro, Amanda Griffin, Shalani Soledad, Shamcey Supsup and other Svenson and Marie France group of companies endorsers and talents, took part to make their voices heard.
The campaign will be given to the Climate Change Commission, which can influence climate change policy. The body of work aims to bolster concrete steps that may help prevent such tragedies from happening again.
