Kenneth Cobonpue designs Tyler’s new flagship store

MANILA, Philippines - Tyler has built a visual signature around glamour and understated elegance. It is the go-to brand for everyday chic, and it recently opened its flagship store at the East Wing of Shangri-La Plaza Mall. The store displays Tyler’s latest collection along with its popular Classics line, within alluring interiors co-designed by multi-awarded visionary Kenneth Cobonpue.

The evening’s highlight was a fashion show of its holiday 2013 collection — modern and luxurious pieces inspired by the world’s most stylish capitals. For the festive season, Tyler looks to darker palettes and urban glamour. Sleek dressy shirts and slim trousers make the men’s line fashion-forward. Elegantly draped dresses and contemporary, color-block wrap tops highlight the choices for women.

The new collection also features the Classics line, which offers versatile pieces for both men and women, and completes the brand’s wider range of clothing in terms of design and price tag.

The launch also unveiled the new Tyler logo, signifying the brand’s continuous evolution to keep up with the shifting needs of customers, as well as the brand’s announcement of its efforts to help Typhoon Yolanda survivors through a donation of P250,000.

Host Bianca Roque, a loyal Tyler customer, along with special guests came to the event wearing Tyler: Atty. Karen Jimeno, TV host Ginger Conejero, Shangri-La communications director Lesley Tan, jewelry designer Paul Syjuco, advertising social command head Yves Gonzales, real estate developer Victor Consunji and model Luke Jickain. Also in attendance were personalities from the fashion and design scenes and media guests including Shamcey Supsup, Myrza Sison, Donna Cuna-Pita, Miguel Rosales, Penny Lopez-Katigbak, Anna Chan, Maricar Xerez-Burgos, Geoff Eigenmann, Gabby Eigenmann, Maggie Wilson, Cloie Syquia, Kat Luna Abelarde, Rosario Herrera, Shawn Weinstein and Alex Cabagnot. Guests enjoyed flowing Martini Asti and canapés during a fun and intimate evening of mingling and shopping as they admired Tyler’s new design.
