SONA Fashion 2013: The Red Carpet
MANILA, Philippines - Easily the biggest sidelight of the President's annual State of the Nation Address is the red carpet where the country's local government officials and then some have come to make a statement.
And this year is no different with the women continuing to dazzle as they make their way into the Congress Plenary Hall. Whether wearing designer pieces from Randy Ortiz as worn by Leyte Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez or something as authentic as Sen. Loren Legarda's Gaddang outfit, the hoopla surrounding the SONA red carpet is no different to any awards ceremony.
The men have decided to stick with the traditional barong Tagalog but there are some who had embroideries added to further their individual causes.
