Ace of shades
MANILA, Philippines -Tom Ford presents striking frames that are evolutions of the brand’s best-selling eyewear designs. Crafted from exquisite materials and featuring superb fabrications, the new collection includes 22 new sunglass frames and 14 optical frames for women and men.
There are 14 new sunglass designs including the Grant, a rounded, mask-like design that takes inspiration from 1960s ski goggles. An extremely distinctive, bat-wing frame is offered in two versions: the exaggerated Bardot, and the subtler shape of the Lana. The season’s bold new eyewear direction is seen in the Nastasya, a metal cat-eye frame made of shiny palladium or shiny rose gold.
The Francoise is a larger and more rounded version of the iconic Whitney design. The Jade revisits the Tom Ford crisscross front in a lightweight frame with metal rims around the lenses, and the Vivienne is an update of the Jennifer frame in rich acetate. Modern designs with vintage inspirations complete the women’s sunglass lineup. The Alicia and Candice reinvent the soft sophistication of a rounded, 1950s silhouette, while the Cori and Faye combine plastic frames with sleek metal bridges.
Tom Ford eyewear is exclusively distributed in the Philippines by The Optoline Inc.
