Suiteblanco brings fresh, urban chic from Spain

MANILA, Philippines - Suiteblanco, the prominent fashion brand from Spain, opens its first store at SM Aura Premier at The Fort on May 17.

In collaboration with the SM Retail Group, highly specialized in the retail sector, Suiteblanco will be among the ladies’ and men’s fashion options in SM’s new upscale mall.

“We have conducted a market review of the Philippines and we have reckoned the SM Group as a highly diverse business conglomerate specializing in the retail industry,” the Suiteblanco Headquarters in Madrid, Spain said in a statement.  “Their joint ventures with Forever 21 and Uniqlo relatively crafted a good record of brand acquisitions, hence Suiteblanco chose to forge a franchise agreement with the SM Group.”

With this new point of sale, the Spanish firm consolidates its awareness and presence abroad and confirms a strong interest in continuing to grow and position itself as one of the brands of reference in the high-street sector.

Suiteblanco, a family business founded by Bernardo Blanco Solana in 1960, specializes in on-trend fast fashion retailing.  Currently with over 270 stores in 23 countries, the brand continues to rapidly expand in the Middle East and several regions in Asia.

The brand speaks to young, modern men and women with an uninhibited urban spirit.  The clothes and accessories resonate well with the customers, who aspire for a diverse worldview on fashion that is aspirational and attainable in terms of price. 

“This market segment is constantly clamoring for novelty and variety and we recognize the need to deliver such demands,” adds Suiteblanco Headquarters in the statement.  “Our objective is to position Suiteblanco as a brand that offers price premium on on-trend fast-fashion finds.”

The new Suiteblanco store at SM Aura Premier will showcase the brand’s spring/summer 2013 collection.  With color and a fresh look as its main features, the collection is designed for spontaneous and modern women.

Among stripes and floral prints, monochromatic garments stand out with deep coral, different shades of blue that go from light sky blue to indigo to deep navy blue, and citrus lime that refreshes any look.

Dresses come in strong as the driving force of the collection and offer original asymmetries, volumes, and drapes.  Shirts and tops also include something special in their designs: cute flounces, modern strips of different colors, and crossed cuts.

Suiteblanco also introduces the micro top trend, and presents different models for the most daring women.  There are also fine and summery cotton jeans, shorts, and mini-skirts to wear with the shirts or tops.

Suiteblanco is located at the upper ground floor of SM Aura Premier.
