American Eagle lands in the Philippines

MANILA, Philippines - American Eagle Outfitters Inc. expands its international retail presence with a series of retail stores throughout the Philippines. The company has signed a multi-year retail license agreement with Suyen Corporation, the leading retailer and franchisee that operates approximately 744 various stores in the Philippines, as well as 126 franchised stores in the country.

The agreement includes American Eagle Outfitters stores as well as shop-in-shop Aerie stores. The Philippine stores will open starting in spring of 2013, the first of which is located at Bonifacio High Street, on the former site of Dimensione. American Eagle Outfitters opened stores in Israel as well as Japan this year, in addition to growing the Middle East business that was launched in 2010. 

The right fit: Denim by American Eagle Outfitters, whose Philippine stores and shop-in-shop Aerie stores will open starting in spring of 2013. The first store, located at Bonifacio High Street, opens on Friday.

American Eagle Outfitters Inc.
