Holiday fashion fever at The Shang
MANILA, Philippines - Shangri-La Plaza recently presented its holiday fashion show at the grand atrium. Dubbed “Season of Opulence,” this year’s showcase featured season-worthy runway revelations from top retail brands Bauhaus, Ben Sherman, Celine, Celio, Crossings Department Store, Daniel Hechter, Debenhams, GAP, K & Co, Mango, Marks & Spencer, Massimo Dutti, Mico Boutique, Mizuno, Nautica, Onitsuka Tiger, Original Penguin, Rustan’s Department Store, Topshop, Warehouse and Zara.
The Shang also sets the mood for the most wonderful time of year with “Give Yourself a Sparkling New Ride,” the mall’s annual holiday grand raffle, ongoing until Feb. 17, 2013. It offers participants the chance to win a brand-new 2013 Lexus CT 200h Luxury Compact Hybrid.
Mall-goers need to present a P2,500 cash or charge single-receipt purchase from any shop at The Shang to get one raffle coupon, or double their chances of winning by using their MasterCard in their purchases. The winner will be picked during the grand raffle draw on Feb. 23, 2013.
The mall continues to show its heart for art and creativity as the Saturday Group of Artist presented “Portrait Painting in Alla Prima Technique,” a one-day painting workshop at the grand atrium featuring Cebu-born artist Romel dela Torre. Dela Torre is a full-time painter and an instructor of advanced painting and portraiture.
