Bench Fix keeps turning heads, 10 years later
MANILA, Philippines - In 2002, Ben Chan wanted to make a big difference in the hair salon industry. Today, Bench Fix Salon is considered one of the fastest growing salons in the country, reflecting a universal Asian glamour that appeals to the young and stylish. As a group of learned and skillful hairdressers and makeup artists, it aims to be the best in the hair industry through innovation, technical expertise and creative identity. Through its team trained by Alex Carbonell, the chief creative and learning director of Fix Training center responsible for teaching, evaluating, honing and developing future artists, Bench Fix is equipped with knowledge, haircutting techniques and styling trends. The stylists make sure they know the clients’ needs rather than simply pushing the latest trends. The salon doesn’t just focus on “cut and style,” but other services include treatments to repair and rejuvenate damage hair, color and grooming like waxing, manicures, and foot spas. Other than this, Bench Fix has developed over 20 products to address every styling need. In addition, Studio Fix, headed by Alex Carbonell, has been Bench Fix’s high-end salon for three years, attending to the most meticulous clients in Manila.
A decade later, in 2012, Bench Fix Salon celebrates its 10th anniversary. For its anniversary, the salon welcomes a new batch of celebrities as its endorsers. Among them is Raymond Gutierrez, TV host, editor, columnist and actor. Also included is host, model, columnist, blogger and currently editor at large for a local young fashion magazine, Bianca Gonzales. Actor Aljur Abrenica teams up with Bench Fix, too, recently endorsing one of Bench Fix’s styling products, as well as actress and host Iya Villania, and “it” girl and showbiz royalty Isabelle Daza who have been with the brand for some time. Each of them represents a vision that Bench Fix has been imparting to its customers for the last 10 years: Iya Villania with copper reds and violet as dimensional colors with soft-set texture for bouncy curls for a decade of beauty; Bianca Gonzales with auburn hair on square-cut layering to add volume and movement for the most glamorous sway for a decade of glamour; Isabelle Daza with long dark brown hair with ash gold reflects and inner cuts for softness and smooth flow of layer for a decade of prestige; Aljur Abrenica with an overlay crown and clean sides with a longish fringe for a decade of appeal; and Raymond Gutierrez with a pompadour as retro nouveau male icon for a decade of style. This campaign is about Bench Fix’s haircut and hair color collection that projects modern-day luxury with an effortless touch.
With its army of stylists and a good number of branches nationwide, Bench Fix Salon continues to redefine the hair salon industry. Got a hair dilemma? Let Bench fix it for you. Visit the Bench Fix Salon nearest you.
