They love Criselda

- Frannie Jacinto - The Philippine Star

Criselda Lontok’s holiday collection 2012 was a well-attended affair at the Rustan’s Makati Gallery that I thought I was in a midst of a humongous hen party with so many familiar faces. It was delightful to bump into ladies whom I had not seen for some time and I noticed that it was women bonding time as a number of them who were eagerly anticipating the show were family members — mothers with daughters and even granddaughters, sisters- and brothers-in-law and well-dressed barkada friends happily enjoying the afternoon together.

Familia LaO: Dinggay LaO, Chari Bagatsing, Marion Coscuella and Cristal Bagatsing

The lovely Criselda has always been very successful because her clothes look good on women who may not have perfect figures but end up looking great with her designs. She makes sure that her clients are secure in the knowledge that the outfit they buy will make them look feminine and stylish at affordable prices.  One can buy a blouse this year and can easily find a jacket or pants to match it a year or two later, and still manage to look polished and well-dressed at all times.

It took a Criselda to draw a motley crowd of glamorous ladies from all political persuasions to view her fashion line with a good number of the ladies in the audience proudly wearing her creations from her previous collections that spanned a decade, proving that flattering styles do not have to follow what the fashion trends are.
