MANILA, Philippines - Certina launches its latest DS Podium timepiece, bringing the power of a precise, two-time-zone chronograph to one’s active lifestyle. With the Swiss watchmaker’s usual design brio and a world-first ETA two-time-zone quartz chronograph movement, the DS Podium GMT unites the latest cutting-edge technology with irresistible good looks.
Tasteful contrasts of adjacent brushed and polished surface, clever design accents, subtle visual planes and geometrics make the new GMT a charm to behold and a must for timepiece lovers. Its sturdy, oversized (42 mm) brushed steel case carries a polished bezel with tachymeter scale.
A sapphire crystal guards an open, sporty black dial with a crisp, functional layout which includes a twin-function chrono counter for 12-hour and 60-minute chrono display on a single indicator, a small second counter and a special GMT additional time-zone counter.
The central red hand is used for chronograph seconds, and an outlined date window at 6 o’clock is housed inside the small-second counter. 
The bold and broad HM hands, small 24-hour/GMT hand, indices and Arabic numerals are treated with Superluminova for best legibility under all lighting conditions.
Of particular interest is the interplay of angled surfaces around the dial which make for direct, easy reading from any angle.
The DS Podium GMT Chronograph comes with either a black finished or silver sunray dial next to a stylish leather strap equipped with a butterfly clasp. A version is also available with a three-row brushed 316L stainless-steel bracelet with folding safety buckle.
