Cath Kidston's scents are a cult success
MANILA, Philippines - In 1993, at 34 and with just £15,000, Cath Kidston opened her first Cath Kidston shop in London’s Holland Park. She began by selling vintage fabrics, wallpapers and brightly-painted junk furniture inspired by fond memories from her childhood. With her clever, witty re-working of traditional English country house style, her shop soon became a cult success.
Heathcote and Ivory, an English toiletry and home fragrance gift company, has collaborated with Cath Kidston for their beautifully packaged and scented toiletries since autumn 2006. The first range consisted of a selection of scents, including lemon and geranium, rose and carnation, and lilac and lavender. The range has since developed into three core scent ranges: rose, bluebell, wild rose.
Cath Kidston is available at Rustan’s.
