Miss Philippines-Earth 2012 candidates put their best foot — or is it face? — forward to become the best makeup artists they could be. Recently, they engaged in a friendly makeup challenge sponsored by local leading cosmetics brand Ever Bilena.

Given a peg, the candidates used the cosmetics provided by Ever Bilena to achieve a high-fashion look. At the end of the challenge, the SM Makati Event Center was filled with radiantly beautiful ladies. Ten candidates emerged to be makeup artists with au naturel talents. But out of the 10, only one was named the best. Abbygale Rey of Makati City was hailed overall winner.

The Miss Philippines-Earth 2012 makeup challenge was attended by Ever Bilena endorsers Daiana Menezes, Francine Prieto, and Miss Philippines Earth Water 2011 Muriel Orais who also hosted the event. Ever Bilena president and CEO Dioceldo Sy sat on the judges’ panel together with Ever Bilena beauty spokesperson Khristine Gabrielle.

This activity of the MPE candidates was just one of the many challenges they had to undergo to test their knowledge of the environment as well as their endurance, creativity, and skills in makeup, cooking, and beauty.

Indeed, our earth warriors are not just beautiful on the surface, they also possess talents and skills which make them all the more outstanding.
