MANILA, Philippines - From a brand that was chieflyt known as a luggage label and travel companion, Lancel has come a long way. The story of Lancel starts with a French woman named Angele Lancel, founder of the first fine leatherwork company. Back in the 1900s, she was also responsible for opening a dozen boutiques in Paris which have been named “Au Sphinx,” “Au Phenix” and “Al’ Incenerrable” — all celebrating Lancel’s view of femininity — free, audacious, and playful.
It was this vision that sustains Lancel’s creativity when it comes to coming up with designs for work-to-play handbags in the world of luxury leather goods. With Lancel’s spring and summer collection this year, a masterful craft of elegant handbags is unveiled.
The Lancel spring and summer collection 2012 is exclusively available at Lancel’s concept store at the second floor of Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City.
