Put some punk into your dragon
MANILA, Philippines - 2012, the Year of the Dragon, is a new and exciting year. It is also the time to celebrate it with the Annual Chinese New Year Art Competition of The Philippine STAR and Swatch. This year, it is entitled the “Enter the Dragon” T-shirt Competition. It is a competition open to all.
OS, a street accessory brand in Manila by multi-disciplinary creatives AJ Omandac and Paul Jatayna, whose designs revolve around versatility of polyurethane bone reproductions, designs a T-shirt as a sample for this competition. Inspired by the Swatch Chrono Plastic Black Hero watch, OS designs their shirt with polyurethane dragon horns and teeth on leatherette fabric.
Play with patterns, textures and colors, using a Swatch watch as an inspiration. Join now by submitting an actual t-shirt entry with your own dragon design from Jan. 4 to Feb. 29 at Swatch Stores, Swatch Kiosks and Hole In The Wall Shops.
