Being Kate Moss
MANILA, Philippines - Being Kate Moss requires courage. Courage is necessary to remain a style icon both with an evening dress and a T-shirt and boots, to emerge from scandals stronger than ever, to tread the runway with a cigarette in your hand daring to show your body after your teen years, to forget a great love, to find the man of your life and marry him with an intimate ceremony, wearing a dress designed by a friend who’s going through rough times. She’s a woman like many others, full of contradictions and imperfections that make her perfect: the most envied as well as the most human among all her colleagues.
With its spring/summer 2012 campaign, Liu Jo pays tribute to the English model’s double soul: Kate Moss has been selected once again to endorse the Liu Jo, Liu Jo Jeans and Liu Jo Shoes lines. A series of photographs by Mario Sorrenti – her long-time friend – shot in her adored London, both indoors and in the garden of a typically British villa. This setting is the perfect expression of Kate’s essence: like an irresistible muse, she inspires the collection and fills every image by enhancing the character of the items designed by the brand based in Carpi, with black and white alternating with colors, reciting a chromatic poem on the beauty of multi-faceted feminine souls.
Liu Jo’s store in the Philippines is located in Ayala Center, Cebu.
