MANILA, Philippines - For four centuries, the French Rancé perfume house, the oldest family-run perfume manufacturer in the world, has been dedicated to the pure art of perfumery. Beginning with the founder, François Rancé, his exclusive perfumes have been highly regarded as the perfumes created for the French aristocracy. Rancé is most known as the master perfumer of Napoleon Bonaparte.

It was, however, when he worked with Lanvin that he met and conducted business with Rustan’s in the 1980s. After working with Lanvin and meeting Rustan’s, he later on became the international export director for Trussardi Perfumes in the Philippines.

Ultimate Schick Look 2011: A makeover of a lifetime

Everyone was already a winner before the final event began at the Ultimate Schick Look 2011 at the Dolce Super Club on Tomas Morato, Quezon City, where top 10 guys and 10 girls competed to be the next Schick male and female brand ambassadors.

The top 20 contestants were the best from over 100 nominations received during the university tour in 50 schools held since September, and led the pack after a neck-to-neck voting on Schick’s official website and Facebook page.

Schick also gave out special awards such as Ultimate Schick Talent, Ultimate Schick Style, Ultimate Schick Photogenic, and USL ng Bayan for most online votes.

As part of Schick’s “Shave for a Cause” advocacy to improve one’s self and bring out the uniqueness in every individual, a chosen beneficiary from GMA Kapuso Foundation was a partner of The Ultimate Schick Look 2011.

Guest judges included Ultimate Schick Boy 2009 winner Anthony Roque and celebrity fashion stylist Odelon Simpao. Rising celebrity Julie Anne San Jose and Ms. Earth Philippines 2010 Psyche Orozco also joined the contestants during the final showdown as guests.
