Emporio Armani eyes the future
MANILA, Philippines - There will be no nostalgia, no looking back this year as Emporio Armani celebrates its 30th year.
Instead, the brand beams at streaming speed towards a digital future. This year, Emporio Armani celebrates its 30th anniversary with a capsule eyewear collection.
Two iconic silhouettes are revisited with a touch of irony, producing transparent, lightweight, and incisive results.
For men, an ultra-flat teardrop shielded model, and for ladies, an oversized rounded model. The 30° Emporio Armani logo is presented on the front of the frame and the metal signature eagle on the temples. The color options include breathtaking pixel bursts in pink, red, purple or green. Alternatively softer shades of brown, shiny grey and smoke grey are available to round off the selection.
The glasses will be available in monochrome versions from mid-October in Emporio Armani stores, department stores and top opticians.
Also from mid-October, a mini website will be launched offering a web experience where personal Emporio Armani 30° anniversary versions can be created by choosing individual mixes of temples, lenses and logos from infinity of possible combinations. 1,030 of these customised models will become available.
