Hermés scarf by a graffiti artist boosts Parisian street art

-

MANILA, Philippines - Graff Hermès is the silk twill carré designed by Kongo.

Kongo is a member of a collective of graffiti artists in the Paris suburbs, traveling the world as an envoy. Making the transition from painting a concrete wall to a silk piece, he expresses himself the same way creatively. With talent, boldness and vitality, Kongo has created a typographical outpouring of sorts, a graphic explosion, and a polychromatic ferment in which Hermès the brand, like the rest of the world, is in perpetual motion.

Cyri “Kongo” Phan teams up with Hermés to create a collection of irreverent and eye-catching scarves.

To spread Kongo’s message and energy, Hermès is giving this scarf another purpose. A part of the proceeds from the sale of the scarf will be devoted to demonstrating and promoting the diversity of Street Art and in enabling young people from disadvantaged areas to partake in the act of creation. This is to allow graffiti artists from around the world to express themselves on the subject of their city.

Hermés is exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Luxury Concepts Inc.

The Hermés shop is located in Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center, Makati.
