Hip, flirty, modern-day princess look from Candie's
MANILA, Philippines - It was a sugar rush of young, vibrant, and fashionable wear that brings out every lady’s inner princess when Candie’s presented its latest collection at the Philippine Fashion Week 2011.
Candie’s, one of the most recognized American pop culture brands, showcased its holiday collection featuring the brand’s take on the modern-day princess through a first-ever conceptual frozen fashion show at SM Mall of Asia’s skating rink, transforming the venue into summer’s “Winter Sartorial Wonderland.”
The latest Candie’s collection showcased an exciting confection of looks and styles of a contemporary princess — from poetic bohemian, midnight rebels, prima ballerinas, to romantic daydreamers.
Pop celebrities graced the crystalline runway wearing the brand’s latest collection of fun, youthful, and vibrant clothing. Among the famous personalities who drew cheers from the crowd were actress Maxene Magalona, 2011 Ford Supermodel of the World Danica Magpantay, and PBB Teen Clash of 2010 housemates Ann Li, Fretzie Bercede, Tricia Santos, Bret Jackson, Ivan Dorschner, and James Reid.
Style bloggers Camille Co, Kryz Uy, Laureen Uy, and Lexi Gancayco also strutted on the frozen ramp with their own Candie’s fashion interpretation. Singer Elmo Magalona performed an upbeat number that made the gals swoon.
Known for its poppy, feminine feel to fashion, Candie’s offers a full range clothing of pick-and-mix option that’s hip, youthful, and carefree.
The brand’s love for youthful individuality is also mirrored in their endorsers. Currently, Vanessa Hudgens fronts the campaign with her dusky charms, candid smile, and girl-next-door sweetness. Previous Candie’s girls included Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas, Hillary Duff, Ashlee Simpson, Kelly Clarkson, and Britney Spears.
