Emporio Armani opens at Greenbelt 4

MANILA, Philippines - Italian fashion house Emporio Armani finally opens in Greenbelt 4 this May. Worldwide, Armani has always been synonymous with high fashion and is considered one of the most prestigious names in the fashion industry. It is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists Inc. in the Philippines.

The women’s collection is defined by materials with an ethnic origin —wood effect, facet cut horn effect, plaited twine effect — to create necklaces in a variety of lengths that emphasize the seductive mood. Leggings are combined with skirts in stretch tulle to add élan to the figure. They provide a covering layer under above-the-knee skirts, or beneath voile dresses, light as a feather.

For shape, evening dresses are designed with a straight neckline and ultra-slim shoulder straps. Stunning materials and workmanship are clearly seen in organza, rubberized raffia, leather strips on thermo welded organza, lace with Lurex finish.

For the men’s collection, technical innovation, superb construction, original finishes, and reconfigured materials are key. The fabrics are lighter, reduced, transformed. There is a loose featherweight weave for a stunning take on the blazer, coated yarns for constructed gilets that are virtually jackets, and trenches as lightweight as shirts.

Accessories feature lace-ups in camouflage or split leather, patterned flip-flops, two-tone moccasins. Large camouflage bags come in crocodile print. For the seaside, there are Lycra leggings in crocodile print, and one-piece swimsuits.
