Efren Ocampo: So inspired by the modern woman

MANILA, Philippines - The modern woman is Efren Ocampo’s muse for his holiday collection at SM. “She is my inspiration,” he intimates.

“The modern woman has a very active lifestyle- she works, socializes, and has a family. She actually wants it all, and she needs clothes that are very simple and easy to wear. Uncomplicated clothes are a must for the busy modern woman.”

And even when she dresses for the holidays, there’s a sense of ease underneath all the elegance, and a go-getting vibe that goes with the glam, as seen in Ocampo’s collection.

The clothes are definitely modern free flowing silhouettes in the softest of fabrics – jersey, chiffon, and crepethat hug and drape the body beautifully.

Ocampo also places a lot of emphasis on the shoulders with asymmetrical necklines, strapless bodices, and wide embellished straps.
