ONE Naturals at Watsons: Natural luxury at affordable prices

MANILA, Philippines - ONE Naturals, a personal care and beauty line that offers natural luxury at very affordable prices, is available starting today at all Watsons stores.

ONE stands for “Organic, Natural and Eco-friendly” and its product range provides nature’s benefits in formulations that deliver optimal results. It is the brainchild of pharmacist and entrepreneur Charade Galang.

When Galang started formulating beauty soaps several years back, she didn’t foresee that she would eventually leave her managerial position at a top international fashion retail chain to concentrate on her first love: experimenting. The overwhelming success of her initial foray, however, prompted her to finally concentrate on her business and make it grow even bigger.

Her winning combination of quality and price led to the dream of every small business owner: being picked up by international retail chain Watsons and commissioned to come up with an exclusive brand for them.

“We created the products using the best combinations of naturally sourced ingredients and organic extracts, exudates, purees, and essential oils at high levels,” Galang says.

ONE Naturals’ current product range includes body soaps, solid shampoos, moisturizers, skin bar conditioners, body butter, lip butter balms, hair conditioners, and lotion massage bars.

Its soaps, which carry such fun names as Blast From The Past and Extra Virgin, are meticulously made by hand, while other products are manufactured using the same standards in Good Manufacturing Practices for manufacturing facilities implemented by government regulatory agencies worldwide. The range is likewise packaged in environmentally friendly materials like recyclable tins and recycled paper; no plastic is used.

In 2011, cosmetic products and advanced skincare systems will be introduced. ONE Naturals is available at Watsons.

Eyes are the focus at Chanel

With its new range of Ombre Contraste Duo eyeshadows and Sublime de Chanel Waterproof mascara, glamorous eyes are the look at Chanel.

Created by Peter Philips, global creative director of Chanel Makeup, each eyeshadow duo compact holds a satiny pearl light eyeshadow to illuminate and darker matte shadow to give depth and intensity to eye makeup.

Meanwhile, the waterproof, smudge-proof formula of the mascara was specially designed for Asian lashes. A Stretch-Effect Bi-Injection brush forms a waterproof film over each lash, cellulose microfibers lengthen, a vinyl derivative curls, and a latex emulsion resists hot and humid environments. HBC introduces hair color touchups

Filipino personal care retailer HBC, Inc. introduces HP Hair Color Touch-Ups, a temporary hair-coloring product that covers gray hair in just minutes. It comes with a wand brush applicator and is formulated to keep hair soft and smooth after each use. Compared with its imported counterparts, HP Hair Color Touch-Ups is affordable at only P99 per pack. It comes in three shades: medium brown, black and dark brown.

Two other products sure to keep bad-hair days at bay are the HP Smooth Out Style Cream, with a moisture sealant that gives hair a glossy look without the greasy feel (only P29), and HP Style Lock Hair Spray, which finishes and holds any hairstyle with Pro Vitamin B5 to keep hair nourished even with repeated styling (P82 for 150 ml and P47.25 for 50 ml).
