This season's most-wanted footwear

MANILA, Philippines - But first this season’s most wanted color. It is the absence of color: It is nude.

All palettes, including dark tones and candies, create a retro feeling.

Lyn footwear says this season, there will be four categories of Lyn footwear that will remain as staples in any woman’s shoe cabinet:

• Flat sandals. These pieces are popular with their multi-strap composition, embellished with stones and metals.

• Ballet flats. A favorite of most women, ballet flats are shaped with rounded and pointy toes, sporting big ornaments and bows as details. They’re fabricated in colorful satin and laser cut to make the piece outstanding.

• Sandals. These styles provide comfort this season. Sandals are plentiful in kitten heels, medium chunky heels, high heels with half platform and also wedge wrapped with natural rope. Wedges are also available in contoured, decorated form. Materials used are mixed, such as snake skin and nappa. Straps are multi-straps, and woven with or without metal hardware such as buckles, zippers and studs.

• High heel pumps. Designed in wedge soles, sexy pointy toes or easy-to-wear peep-toes with patent or animal prints, these soles are comfortable.

Key details that are evident in the latest footwear by Lyn are asymmetric straps, fringe, sandal boots, criss-cross sandals, lace-ups, knotted and cutouts. Materials that play a part in this look are suede, snakeskin, croc skin, patent, vegetal tanned leather, printed fabrics, satin, mesh, metallics, and pony leather.

Lyn accessories make use of contrast. Metal shine and raw natural materials coexist.
