MANILA, Philippines - This summer, it’s the Chino look. A mainstay in the Banana Republic legacy, the iconic safari material resurfaces in new shades ranging from stone, wheat to putty.
“For us, it’s not about one or two hot trendy pieces, it’s more about a certain style and approach to dressing,” notes creative director and EVP of design, Simon Kneen.
Various Chino-inspired light materials like linen, cotton, and silk pieces are layered to add versatility to your wardrobe. For men, cotton oxfords and gently lined blazers perfectly balance tailored silhouettes with relaxed elements, while for women liquid tees, comfy cotton cropped pants and feminine dresses emerge as ‘round the clock favorites for day or night.
