Your Sunsilk moment is hair

-

MANILA, Philippines - If you think damaged hair only happens to fashion models or celebrities who subject their hair to bright lights, a barrage of styling instruments and all sorts of hair products, think again.

Constant blow-drying, too much brushing, and even aggressive towel drying can lead to split ends, frizz, and frays.

Banish dry and damaged locks forever with Sunsilk’s Damage Repair System, which is co-created with top London stylist Tom Taw.

Sunsilk’s most advanced Damage Repair formulation is enriched with Olive Serum Nutri Complex, which seals in moisture, layer-by-layer, and strand-by-strand. The three-step damage repair solution begins with Sunsilk Damage Repair shampoo, which gently cleanses damaged hair, while reconstructing beneath the hair surface and filling damaged cracks deep down. Sunsilk Damage Repair Nourishing Conditioner softens and nourishes hair, bringing it back to extreme smoothness. Cap it off with Sunsilk Damage Repair Reconstruction Serum that intensively reconstructs and nourishes even severely damaged hair and reduces hair breakage, tames frizz, and prevents split ends. With 10 regular applications, hair is resuscitated, reconstructed, and restored to health.

“Moisture gives hair movement, while protein gives it strength. We’ve got the perfect balance in the Damage Repair System I’ve co-created with Sunsilk,” says Tom.

The cutting-edge stylist is obsessive in his passion for repairing damaged hair and is the trusted hairdresser to repair the damaged locks of world-famous musicians, models, and actors.

Fresh from the success of her Sunsilk “Record Breaker” stint, Sarah Geronimo takes pride in bringing her young following to a cheerful celebration.

“I’m proud of my beautiful hair,” she says. Now, Sarah takes on promoting hair care, a sensitive concern for young girls her age and the grownups as well. “I know how constant styling can damage one’s hair and I’m happy that Sunsilk has the Damage Repair System that works for me.”

Sarah once again teams up with Sunsilk, this time through a unique microserye entitled “Hair is Your Moment,” a romantic comedy that will run for 10 weeks.

The pilot episode, which aired on Valentine’s Day, is already gaining buzz as it is the first ever microserye where viewers get to decide what happens next.

In the Sunsilk microserye, she portrays Jenny, an orphan tasked to take care of her younger brother and the family business — a carinderia, which is up for repossession if she fails to pay mortgage in 10 days.

Jenny tries to “repair” the damage by joining an audition for a concert where the cash prize is enough to pay off the loan. True enough, a lot can happen in 10 days and the microserye follows her hair-raising experiences.

Guji Lorenzana and Mark Bautista join Sarah Geronimo in this one-of-a-kind TV offering.

“We’re very excited with this microserye,” says Jem Perez, Sunsilk brand manager, Unilever Philippines. “It’s the first time that a microserye is being done where viewers control the outcome of the story.”

Each episode will end with a hanging choice and viewers get to decide what happens next via SMS.

To vote, viewers must look for the promo code found inside every package of Sunsilk Damage Repair shampoo or conditioner (these packs are also marked with a pink puzzle piece).

Voters must then type 10DAYS<promo code><letter of vote> and send to 2600. Example: 10DAYS abc12 A.

Voters will receive an instant prize whenever they vote. Prizes include Globe cell phone load, discount coupons from National Book Store, Sunsilk Damage Repair kits and iPod.

Catch Sunsilk’s “Hair is Your Moment” every Sunday on ASAP with replays weekly on Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo and be a part of another first from Sunsilk.
