MANILA, Philippines - Summer campaign fever is in and hot at the moment. That’s why fashion designer Eddie Baddeo’s Grecian-inspired gowns in “political colors” are the highlight of this year’s Miss Puerto Princesa City coronation night tomorrow at the City Coliseum in Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
The week-long event is also culminating its 138th founding anniversary and the 6th Balayong (Flower) Festival.
Actor Piolo Pascual will serenade the 20 candidates from different barangays.
The yearly event is produced by the city government with Connie Aban as overall concept and promotion chair.
Direction and choreography is by Earl Crisostomo.
Guests of honor are Mayor Edward Hagedorn and wife Ellen, the pageant’s committee chair.
