What is cellulite really and how does it come to be that way in my body? I am fit, but I have so much cellulite on my buttocks and the back of my thighs. I want a lotion or cream I can apply that works. Help!

Hair Ye: Coloring Eyebrows

I recently colored my hair to a very light shade of brown. I love my new look, but my black eyebrows look so off. My question is: Can I color my eyebrows to complement my new hair color?

For people who have changed their hair color dramatically, they should alter your brow color, too — but only subtly. Arches that match exactly can look fake. In choosing the right shade, black can give a harsh, hard look for most faces — even if your hair is jet black. Choose a color a few shades lighter than your eyebrow hair. A dark brown shade looks more natural. Light brown shades will all the more brighten up the face. But be careful not to go too light. If you do, your eyebrows will disappear and exaggerate the lines and wrinkles surrounding the eye area.

 The hair of your eyebrows is hair just like on any other part of your body — including your head. It can be colored like the hair on our head. Some women turn to their trusted hairdressers to have their eyebrows tinted to complement their new hair color. The color can last as long as your hair color. Be careful though, the chemicals in these products are very strong and may cause burns if you get them on the sensitive skin of your face.

If you have sensitive skin or are prone to allergies, consider using tinted gel or other eyebrow products. I too have recently changed my hair color to a rich brown color. But I never had my eyebrows tinted at the salon. I feel safer and more comfortable using products meant for the brows. This way, I can also easily go lighter or darker with my eyebrows. You can try Shu Uemura Eye Brow Manicure. It’s like a tinted mascara wand meant for the eyebrows. I get mine in Palm Beige. I love how its light brown shade brightens up the face and naturally defines my brows. If you’re more comfortable with an eyebrow pencil, MAC also has a great shade in Fling. I use Glutatone A+ with Glutathione T Alpha Arbutin, Vit. C + SPF 20 from Dr. Filomena L. Montinola.

There’s also Arbutin with Kojic Cream and Kojic Lotion, used one on top of the other from Dr. Imelda Cervantes.

Be patient, wait. You’ll get those pinhead spots out — just consistently dab the whitening creams on them.

On my brown tiny spots, I use Ponds White Beauty Detox Spotless White Lotion with vitamins B3, B6, E, and C as well as UV protection, being once a Ponds and Vaseline Intensive Care model.
