All Foxed up and ready to go
MANILA, Philippines - Fox launches its latest collections composed of pieces that are ideal for going on long trips while listening to ’70s music or the more current rhythms of the digital age.
Since the beach calls out invitingly, loose, soft and free-flowing fabrics from Fox’s Urban collection are women’s best bets for exuding ageless chic. Flirty and feminine, flower prints and thin knitted fabrics in summer colors of lemon yellow, mint green, blue purple, and smoked pink embellished with lace, ribbons, buttons, and crochet details effortlessly capture the Bohemian tropical vibe.
The Women’s Active collection by Fox features Tokyo-inspired clothes that are informed by street sports and architecture. Geometric patterns, big colorful stripes, asymmetric lines, and ombré techniques characterize the pieces in the collection.
The pieces boast unconventional fits — from dropped crotch pants and bubble shorts, to kimono sleeves. And the hues are orange red, fuchsia pink, and ice green reminiscent of city lights.
A mix of quirkiness and sweet innocence, the Limited Edition takes on its “Circus” theme with careful attention to detail. A mix of smoked pastels with the basic blacks and whites goes well with suntanned skin. With a Limited Edition dress, women can say no to accessories. Available are long tunics, wide bell skirts and short shorts made extraordinary with embellishments of circus-inspired prints, sequins, embroidery, metal trimmings, and the ever-present ballet shoes logo.
With ’70s music in mind, the Fox men’s collection features loose, casual, and relaxed clothing with that rock & roll vibe reminiscent of Mick Jagger of the Stones. The East Village collection makes wearers feel as if they had unearthed an old trunk full of clothes from a concert in 1976. Dusty natural colors with shades of blue, off-white, and gray dominate the color scheme. Heavy-washed denims, flower-printed and plaid walking shorts, hippie-inspired polos make up the bulk of the collection.
See techno, electronica, trance and house in a new light with Fox Men’s Active collection. Prints of DJs, graphic typography, video games, and repetitive shapes representing beats in a palette of whites with touches of blacks and grays, combined with startling pops of purple, bright pink, aquamarine, bright yellow and silver, take center stage on the collection. Fun and edgy, the collection is best finished off with a pair of bright sneakers, white sunglasses, and an iPod.
The Fox Men’s Black & White group takes “emo” to the next level with provocative texts and prints set against a mix and match of stripes or graphic images. Classic and reliable, the black-and-white tees go well with anything and remain a staple in every man’s closet.
Fox Baby prepares little boys and girls for their taste of summer. Whether tame or rowdy, there’s something in store for baby boys with Vintage, which takes on designs inspired by the surfing scene in Australia. Images of the beach, surfers, and palm trees are the dominant prints of the collection. Tie-dye effects, garment washes, ethnic add-ons, and handmade trims — in soft pastel colors of peach, dirty green, light turquoise and banana yellow for tops, and browns and khakis for pants — complete the collection especially created for the hyperactive. Imaginative baby boys will find Street right up their alley with robots and monsters at the forefront. Retro prints, doodles, scrawls, and childish drawings in basic crayon colors of red, royal blue, and green with funny buttons and silly doll patches give the impression that the designs were made by the boys themselves.
Fox drew inspiration from India in its Romantic collection. The clothes come in paisley with flower patterns, elephants, birds, leaves, and butterflies with gold foil prints, handmade embroidery and patches, metal sequins and beads in a palette dominated by brown with various shades of pink, orange, turquoise, green, and purple.
Go psychedelic in the Pop collection with its bazooka pink, poison green, and retro purple on clean shades of white and fuchsia. Rainbows and colorful geometric patterns highlight the collection with the embellishment of candy-looking buttons and fruit ornaments for a “Pop-licious” look.
The pieces from the latest collection are available at Fox boutiques at SM Mall of Asia, Greenbelt 5, Robinsons Place Manila-Midtown Wing, and SM City Cebu-North Wing.
